A Taste of Hope: Safe House’s Community Kitchen Takes the Stage in Vinovo for Palestinian Tent Schools

We’ve always believed that preparing a meal is one of the most genuine ways to care for others. On Sunday, October 18th, in Vinovo, we had the privilege of putting that belief into action for a cause that moved us deeply.

When we were approached to lend our community kitchen team to a fundraising event for Palestine, our response was immediate. The mission was vital: supporting the essential Tent Schools initiative and delivering direct relief where it’s needed most. In such a complex and challenging moment in history—where feeling helpless is all too easy—being able to dedicate our resources and passion to building a safety net was a true honor.

While Safe House didn't organize the gathering, we threw ourselves into it heart and soul. The atmosphere was electric, defined by incredible energy, high spirits, and a genuine sense of community. The clatter of the kitchen moved in harmony with the music and the bright smiles of everyone who showed up, stood up, and chose not to look away.

Our heartfelt thanks go out to the organizers for trusting our work, and to every single person who came together to make this day so memorable. We cooked to support a cause across the globe, but the warmth and unity we felt right there made us feel closer than ever.
